These qualities are wonderfully expressive in the cantabile passages\" (Ector Berlioz). Estonian oboist Kalev Krijus' album \"Lovely Oboe Concertos\" features four works from the Baroque period from the concertos for oboe and oboe d'amore that have been beloved by oboe players of all ages. The C major work by Vivaldi, who is said to have written concertos for almost every instrument used in the orchestra, and the work by the Venetian-born Marcello, composed in the early 18th century and considered the first oboe concerto in the history of music. A concerto in G major by Telemann, which uses the oboe d'amore, which has a lower register than the oboe, as the solo instrument. The \"Oboe d'amore Concerto in A major\" is a reconstruction of the oboe d'amore concerto, whose score is lost, from \"Harpsichord Concerto No. 4 in A major, BWV.1055,\" which J. S. Bach had adapted for harpsichord. Kalev Krijus was born in Tallinn in 1975.
