In addition to Kurt Rosenwinkel, this release brings together the same members as on \"Berlin People\" (Sunnyside SSC 1541): pianist Ludwig Hornung, bassist Tom Berkman, and drummer Matthias Rupnich. The live performance was recorded at A-Trane in Berlin, a place associated with where Tobias Meinert first heard Kurt Rosenwinkel. The venue is one of the few clubs in the world that offers musicians a full week of performances.
