MARK JONSON (note the spelling) is a folk-rock singer/songwriter who has been active since the 1960s, and whose first album "Years" (1972) is a lost masterpiece of psychedelic folk/baroque pop, and "12 IN A ROOM" is a power pop masterpiece that was revived in the 1990s. Note the spelling). This is a special collection of previously unreleased secret recordings made between 1979 and 2012 in a small apartment on Cornelia Avenue in New York City. The album contains a variety of songs from soft folk-pop, exhilarating pre-power pop, cold acid folk, pretty pop songs, and dramatic ballads, with a focus on Beach Boys/Phil Spector-inspired 60s oldies pop numbers that will be a big part of his work. The album includes a variety of songs, from cute pop songs to dramatick ballads. Although the sound is simple and guitar-centered due to the fact that it was recorded as a demo, you will be amazed by his playful songs, the beauty of their melodies, and the quality of the content, which is full of good songs.
