He studied composition and music theory under Morton Feldman at the University of Miami. His music carries on the style of his mentor, Feldman, and is characterized by a slow tempo, a kaleidoscopic and gentle palette, and gradually evolving motifs, possessing a mysterious beauty. The three works included on this album draw inspiration from the tragedy of Auschwitz, memories of the Cuban beaches where he spent his childhood, and memories of Earl Brown (1926–2002), a composer who symbolized American modernism. Each piece evokes boundless sorrow through the extensive use of meditative phrases. Featuring the renowned conductor Célébrier, the album offers a magnificent performance.

Tracklisting:

1.Auschwitz (Nunca se olvidaran)
2.Varadero Memories
3.In Memoriam Earle Brown
