The ongoing series of recordings of Scarlatti's complete sonatas on NAXOS features one pianist at a time (and sometimes more than one album), adding color and variety to the performances. The pianist in charge of the 17th album is the young Sean Kennard, who was born in 1984 and won a prize at the 2004 Sendai International Piano Competition. Recorded in 2015.
