The Belgian Royal Trio was founded in the 19122\/23 season and initially consisted of Emile Chaumont (1878-1942) on violin, Maurice d'Ambois (1889-1969) on cello, and Emile Bosquet (1878-1959) on piano. All three were closely associated with Ysaÿe, Dambois as a member of Ysaÿe's string trio and string quartet, and Bosquet as an unaccompanied pianist. D'Ambois was a member of Ysaÿe's string trio and string quartet, to which he dedicated his unaccompanied cello sonata. Bossuet also often played with Ysaÿe. Du Bois also played with Ysaÿe, and it is widely known that he succeeded him as professor at the Brussels Conservatory, where he taught Grumiaux. Their performances are a valuable document of how piano trios were played, as they convey the typical style of the Franco-Belgian school, and from Mozart to the contemporary music of the time, the Turina. The margins include nine small pieces that Du Bois performed with Fernand Fuens on piano. The recordings show his bowing and fingering, including portamento.\n\n\n\n(Naxos Japan)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Biddulph Recordings","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51265077739809,"sku":"4589538821555","price":248.0,"currency_code":"NOK","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538821555.jpg?v=1747037582","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-no\/products\/4589538821555","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
