Glinka's chamber music is not so well known, perhaps because many of his works are in the style of the Viennese Classical School rather than Russian. However, all of them, including the often-heard \"Pathetique Trio,\" are beautiful pieces with a dark lyricism. The most notable is the Piano Trio with \"Three Russian Songs. It is a rare work arranged by Hermann in the 1880s after Glinka's death.
