Nozomu Takahashi session re-recordings of his annual performance of the Goltberg Variations! Nozomu Takahashi, who has made performing Bach his life's work, has re-recorded the Gortberg Variations as the fourth recording following the Gortberg Variations (recorded live in 2015), the entire first volume of the Clavier Average and the Partita Album (Nos. 1, 2 and 4). The previous recording was a live recording, so we could hear a highly improvisational performance, but this time, the performance is a highly accomplished compilation of three days of fully prepared performances that make full use of their past performance experience. The performance was full of natural, flexible dynamism, overflowing with a sense of awe toward the composer, and its fresh tone and light expression gave Bach's music a fresh dynamism. The fresh tone and lightness of expression give Bach's music a fresh dynamism. ＜Nozomi Takahashi (Piano) was born in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. She won prizes at the Sonoda Takahiro Prize Piano Competition and the Gino Gandolfi International Piano Competition in Parma. She studied under Peter Lösel at the Dresden State University of Music and received her National Performer's Certificate and completed the Meister Class at the same graduate school. She has made Bach's Golberg Variations her life's work and gives recitals of the same piece every year.The 2015 performance was recorded live and released as a CD (PPCA620). The following CDs, along with the second "The Mean Clavier Works, Volume 1, Complete" (YSL001) and the third "Partita Album" (PPCA624), received rave reviews in various music magazines; he also appeared on NHK-FM's "Masterpiece Recital" and NHK-E Tele's "La La La Classics."
