Twenty years later, in 2018, Sakamoto and tabla player U-zhaan reconstructed the track to create “energyflow-rework.” Distorted guitars overlap fantastically with serene tabla melody loops. This is an extremely personal “new energyflow” that evokes a sensual sense of ecstasy distinct from the original.
