Savard's "Missa Solemnis" Savard's momentum continues to grow. Following Beethoven's symphonies (Nos. 1-5: AVSA-9937/6-9: AVSA-9946) comes the third and final installment of the Beethoven series: the Missa solemnis, completed in 1823 (produced between 1819 and 1823). Savard was able to visit Japan at the end of October 2023. Although he came to Japan as a violist, it was a tour that impressed the audience not only with his wonderful music but also with his performance technique, which is still the best in the world even in his 80s. His activities as a conductor are, of course, also at an even higher level.
