Bassoon possibilities from a young talent!The debut disc of Emanuel Blumin-Synt, a young talent born in Madrid in 2004 and raised in Ireland and Germany, is now available from Es-Dur in Germany. Blumin-Synt studied with Matthias Beyer in Berlin at the age of 9, with Rainer Luft at the Hans Eisler University of Music in Berlin from April 2023, and with Matthias Ratz at the Zurich University of the Arts from September 2024. He has repeatedly received the highest scores in the German national competition \"Jugend musiziert\" and has won 13 international music competitions; in the fall of 2024 he was awarded the Fanny Mendelssohn Encouragement Prize. As a soloist, he has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Erbphilharmonie, and the Berlin Philharmonie, as well as with the Deutsche Oper Chamber Orchestra Berlin, the Orchestre de la Rho, and the Real Philharmonia de Galicia.Several composers have composed new works for him, and in 2022, Valentin Silvestrov, one of Ukraine's greatest contemporary composers, composed the only bassoon (bassoon) work for him so far. This album is a good project, combining Bach to Villa-Lobos and contemporary pieces dedicated to him by Yuri Povorotsky and Valentin Silvestrov to portray the bassoon as a solo instrument with a rich and varied history.
