In addition to being highly acclaimed for her affinity for British and French music, she is also known as a specialist in original and antique instruments, having played most of the existing playable virginals in the UK. Sophie Yates' first Bach album since \"Arrangements from Vivaldi and the Marcello Brothers\" (CHAN0796) is a complete recording of one of Bach's early masterpieces, the English Suite.
