He is one of the leading composers of contemporary music in Europe today.This 2-CD set includes all four string quartets, a piano quintet, and a clarinet quintet composed by Fuller over a 40-year period from 1984 to 2021. The Diotima String Quartet, one of the world's most popular and accomplished contemporary string quartets, Canadian pianist Claudia Chan, who also specializes in contemporary music, and clarinetist Torsten Johans, who has played principal clarinet with the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne and the New York Philharmonic.
