Renowned American female singer-songwriter, Carole King, held a triumphant concert on May 26, 1973, at the Great Lawn in Central Park, New York, attracting an estimated 100,000 spectators. The landmark performance, which remained unreleased for 50 years, changed the landscape of New York live performances and set the stage for legendary concerts in Central Park. The concert featured iconic hits as well as tracks from her 1973 album "Fantasy," which was set to be released soon after.
The concert's live audio is captured on CD, while the DVD features the full-length concert documentary film "Home Again." Lou Adler filmed the event in 1973 using multi-camera 16mm footage, which has remained unreleased until now. In addition to the live concert footage, the DVD also includes archival footage from King's songwriting days, behind-the-scenes moments from the event, and interviews with Carole King herself.
