Gram Parsons, who had left the Byrds to fuse country, rock, and soul, created a new music on the Flying Burrito Brothers' impressive debut album, which he dubbed "Cosmic American Music," a name he gave himself because he hated the term "country rock. The new music created by the Britto Brothers on their brilliant debut album was called "Cosmic American Music. This is a sequel to the "Cosmic American Music" compilation, which was released in 2016 as part of the "Wayfaring Strangers" series on Numero, and is a collection of excellent recordings that were influenced by this sound and quietly made and then disappeared in various parts of the United States. This follow-up to "Cosmic American Music," a compilation released on NUMERO in 2016 as part of the "Wayfaring Strangers" series, is gently resonant suburban country rock influenced by 60s West Coast folk rock, but without the political aspects of counterculture anti-war/anti-war. The compilation is a wonderful compilation of the most sophisticated sounds that have been buried in the past, and it is indeed a NUMERO album.
