Marc Ysaye, drummer/vocalist and original member of MACHIAVEL, who has been active in Belgium since the 70's, has released his first solo album under his own name in his home country in '20, playing symphonic rock that is unusually orthodox and soft for a Belgian band. It was reissued by Italian label Vrec in '22! The album features his own vocals as well as those of his fellow musicians, including Christophe Pons (g) and Herve Borbe (key) of MACHIAVEL and Marcus Weymaere (drs/perc) of FISH ON FRIDAY, and is a collection of songs with MACHIAVEL-like pop and melancholy sensibilities. The band plays blues and classic rock with catchy melodies that retain a pop and melancholy sense typical of Machiavell.
