The Chiaroscuro Quartet, led by violinist Alina Ibragimova (the name \"Chiaroscuro\" means \"contrast\" or \"shadow\"), continues to record Haydn for the BIS label. The quartet was formed in April 2016. The quartet made its first visit to Japan as a quartet in April 2016 with great success.Performing classical and early romantic repertoire, the group has released discs of Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, and Mendelssohn, all of which have been well received.
