The program is a moving and well-organized development of pieces by Schneetberger, Shostakovich, John Dowland, and Samuel Barber, performed together or separately. Schnetberger's concerto In Memory of My People, dedicated to his Sinti Roma ancestors, is a powerful and lively work that expresses both mourning and celebration. Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 8, also dedicated to the victims of war, is performed with deep sensitivity and feeling by the members of the Keller Quartet. Clever arrangements can be found in Schnetberger and the Keller Quartet's \"Let My Beloved Cry\" and the duo \"Flow, My Tears\" with cellist Laszlo Fenyo of the Keller Quartet.The Keller Quartet will explore the essence of Barber's Adagio for Strings, Op. 11, while Schneetberger expresses a faint hope in the delicate solo guitar piece \"Your Smile.\" The final piece, Rhapsody No. 1 by Schneetberger and the Keller Quartet, is a new arrangement of a theme written by Ferencz for a Roma film.
