Description:
Produced by Bruno Belli & Butter Boy! Far Out presents the international debut of Nylon Igor, a lo-fi instrumental multi-instrumentalist also from Maceio! Born in Maceió, the capital of the state of Alagoas, to an economically poor family, young black musician Nylon Igor is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who plays lo-fi, intimate bedroom pop in the tradition of traditional music from northeastern Brazil and the golden age of MPB. His self-produced debut album, "Fio de Lâmina," has attracted a great deal of attention, with Mr. Scruff, Giles Peterson, John Gomes, and others naming it as their favorite album, despite its distribution only, and now Far Out is releasing his long-awaited world debut album. The album is co-produced by Bruno Belli, who made his international debut earlier than others and is now attracting attention as a singer/songwriter of the next generation in Brazil, and up-and-coming producer Battata Boy, who can be considered Bruno's right-hand man.In recent years, they have been based in São Paulo, and their fresh sensibility has made them active as collaborators. As part of this, they produced Igor, who is also from Maceio. The opening track on the album, "Ciranda," as the name suggests, sets the mood with its ciranda rhythm, while the melancholy trombone and melancholic acoustic guitar harmonies create an intimate and grandiose atmosphere. Based on the instrumental sound of the debut track, "Louro Cantador" features playful organ, birdsong-like whistling, and elegant acoustic guitar, while the gentle pulse of Igor's main instrument, the bass, allows each instrument to vibrate and express the beauty of nature The song expresses the beauty of nature. The preceding single, "São Só Palavras," featuring New York-based Brazilians Alysi Sol and Bruno Berri, captures the lightness and depth of young love in a brief one-and-a-half minute blink. The music is naturally reminiscent of Bruno Berli's, but the greater proportion of instrumental music highlights Igor's keen sense of sound and silence. The superb Peachland sound that draws the listener into a place of deep personal feeling and universal resonance, a place where both are felt, is recommended not only to fans of Bruno, but also to listeners of Italo and Leonardo Marquez, also from Maceió. Mixed by Batata Boy, Ico dos Anjos, Bruno Berle, and Nyron Higor Mastered by Batata Boy Produced by Batata Boy, Bruno Berle, and Nyron Higor
