Bill Bruford, a drummer who has represented the progressive rock scene from YES, KING CRIMSON, UK and many other bands, is now retired from live performances and concentrating only on studio work. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of EARTHWORKS, the band performed a live concert in New York in December '04, where they covered their past songs in a big band format. This is a live recording of the December '04 New York concert, where the band covered past songs in a big band format. The live performance is full of unexpectedness and a different flavor from the original version, in which the two musicians and the U.S. horn section weave together to create a swing-style arrangement of many of their best-known songs, including 'UpNorth', 'Pigalle' and 'Footloose and Fancy Free'!
