The Residents have been leading American left field music for almost 50 years since their formation in the early 1970's. The artwork is modeled after the cover of the Beatles' "Meet the Beatles," the sound production uses no synthesizers, and the jumble of ideas is comparable to Zappa and Beefheart, all put together with the utmost taste! The album opens with a cover of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'. This new 3LP edition includes both the 1974 mono mix and 1977 stereo mix, as well as a bonus disc of alternate versions, outtakes, and recently rediscovered unreleased material!
