Here, Holdsworth met \u003csynthaxe\u003e, which was developed as a new generation guitar synthesizer, and he made an amicable agreement with the developer and signed an endorsement contract for this guitar synthesizer.\n\n\n\nThis album was recorded with the rhythm section of Jimmy Johnson and Gary Husband, and also featured a long time collaboration with Tony Williams of Lifetime.Other members of the band include keyboardist Alan Pasqua, also a close ally, and drummer Chad Wackerman, who has participated in the band's two tours in Japan.\n\n\n\nFrom the opening track, the album explodes with the unique synthesizer sound of Syntax, with Holdsworth's guitar providing the unique phrasing. At the time of the album's production, Holdsworth himself was not yet fully proficient on the instrument, and he uses both guitar and syntax on the title number, \"Atavaklong. The songs themselves, however, are excellent, and the entire album has the feel of a syntax-oriented performance.
