The program ends with a heroic Slavic march. Chauhan brings out the finest sound from the orchestra, and also shows great attention to detail in the lesser-performed pieces. Recorded by renowned producer Brian Pidgeon \u0026amp; recording engineer Ralph Cousins, the recording is available on SACD.\n\nBirmingham-born conductor Alpesh Chauhan studied with Sklovaczewski, attended master classes with Vasily Petrenko and Juanjo Mena, and from 2014-2016 was the Assistant Conductor of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, where he was trained by Andris Nelsons and Edward Cardner.
