There, he began a second chapter in his musical career, leading the 12-piece Afrobeat ensemble “Ridimtaksi” and collaborating with the Finnish maverick Jimi Tenor.\nIn 2009, Daptone Records reissued his 1973 cult classic *NaTeefKnowDeRoadofTeef*, finally earning him the long-awaited global recognition he deserved.\nA killer track from that album has been released as a single.\nBuilt around thunderous brass, intricately interwoven percussion, and razor-sharp guitar riffs, it’s a heavyweight Afrobeat number designed for the dance floor.\nThe B-side features a limited-edition remix by Gabriel Bellabas, co-founder of the label *PositiveFuture*, as well as a producer and DJ.
