The miraculous return of The Nozist after 5 years!\n\n\n\nThe Nozist's first new album in 5 years is here! Recorded in their home base of Munich, this is the first studio production with a band since \"12\" in 1995. The core members, the Archer brothers and Chico Beck, collaborated on the production of the album, gathering in the studio to arrange their own songs, which were then rehearsed and recorded live. The energetic songs make the most of \"the moment\" and clearly capture the magic that was created with band members Theresa Loibl, Max Punktezar, Carl-Eval Lefset, and Andy Harvell.\n\n\n\nThe quiet, introspective start of \"Teeth\" is replaced by the preceding single \"X-Ray,\" in which the entire band creates a future anthem with peak energy, while the sparkling keys of \"Propeller\" graze the surface of the gushing water like bouncing stones. And on \"The Turning,\" the band powerfully creates the album's most heartwarming melody.\n\n\n\nThe fact that this album was recorded over the course of a week at Import Export, a non-profit space for art and music, gives it a subtle sense of confidence, as if the songs are striving for perfection but allowing them to breathe and mutate freely between the ears. And the guest appearances of local and international friends reflect the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Munich. Enid Vallue joins on vocals, Haruka Yoshizawa on Taisho harp and harmonium, Tianping Christoph Chao on clarinet, and Matthias Goetz on trombone.\n\n\n\nThe album features a beautiful cover of Neil Young's \"Red Sun\" and \"How the Story Ends\" by the folk-pop group Lovers, as well as two cover songs.\n\n\n\nThe song is about a river in Munich that I go to a lot, that's been there for a long time and will be there after us. It's always the same, but it's always changing. It is a very calming presence, but also a reminder that time, like a river, flows only in one direction and can never return. That's why every moment is so precious.
