The performance was realized with the cooperation of Ricordi as part of the Expo Milano 2015 project. The Cathedral Duomo, the symbol of Milan, began construction in 1386 and was completed by Napoleon's order some 500 years later. Its magnificent architecture is 158 m long, 93 m wide, and 108 m high, with an interior area of 11,700 square meters. Known as one of the largest Gothic buildings in the world, its 135 spires and the beauty of its fusion with 2,245 sculptures are truly breathtaking. In this performance, visitors will be able to enjoy the latest in video technology, which uses video mapping (=projection mapping) on traditional architecture, exciting lighting and color effects, and overturns the conventional wisdom of opera video staging.Rossini's opera \"Moset\" is a revision of the composer's own opera \"Moset in Egypt\". The miracles performed by Moset appear in each act, and are used to enhance the opera as a showcase. The scene in which the Jews fleeing from Egypt find their way blocked by the Red Sea and the Egyptian soldiers sinking into the Red Sea at the end of the fourth act make the great spectacle into a magnificent religious drama with sophisticated visual effects.
