SAD LOVERS AND GIANTS, a short-lived neo-psychedelic/psychedelic post-punk band formed in Watford, UK in 1980, represented the Midnight Music label in the early 80's. Their 3rd album "The Mirror Test" was released in 1987. The third album "The Mirror Test" released in 1987 is reissued on vinyl from Italian label SPITTLE! The band is known to fans as guitarist TRISTAN GAREL-FUNK, who later played in SNAKE CORPS, but they have remained a low profile band in the neo-psychedelic scene, quietly representing the UK in the 80's. They have been featured in DURUTTI COLUMN, JOY DIVISION, CHAMELELELAND, and JOY DIVISION as a cult band. They are a cult band that should be listened to as much as DURUTTI COLUMN, JOY DIVISION, CHAMELEONS, and THE CURE as a representative band of the UK in the 80's.
