This is a live recording for KSAN-FM radio broadcast in 1975 of the psychedelic funky blue eyed soul band led by BILL CHAMPLIN! The band features BILL CHAMPLIN, one of the leading vocalists in the AOR scene, who later went on to release works as CHICAGO, solo artist, and now as CHAMPLIN WILLIAMS FRIESTEDT, along with GRATEFUL DEAD and JEFFERSON STARSHIP. This will be a night in their hometown of Marin. The band's sound is as muddy and psychedelic as GRATEFUL DEAD, JEFFERSON STARSHIP and other famous Cisco bands, while swallowing black music such as rhythm & blues, soul, funk, etc. BILL CHAMPLIN's soulful vocals are of course catchy and pop.
