The Hymarts' long-awaited 1st LP "World Tour - Greatest Hits + Dodgy Demo" is finally released from SOUNDFLAT RECORDS! The Hymarts have been building up a solid career with repeated member changes, inheriting the tradition of the Japanese garage scene from the 60's GS to 70's punk, and gradually taking the world by storm with their primitive fuzz guitar sound. After the sold-out release of their first CD "Early Recordings" on Sazanami Records, they have released several 7" records including "I Want You" on Radio Underground Records, "Hey Boy" on SoundflatRecords, and "Koi wa Mou" on Erostika. and "Koi wa already" on Erostika. Finally, the long-awaited 1st LP "World Tour - Greatest Hits + Dodgy Demo" was released from SOUNDFLAT RECORDS.The Greatest Hits-A-Side of the LP starts with the title track of the hit single, A-1 "I Want You," followed by live versions of A-3 "Hold Me," A-5 "Hey Boy," and A-6 "Bright Red Sunset," all of which are eagerly awaited for their single releases. The band's powerful and wild live sound can be enjoyed on this album. The Dodgy Demo-B-Side features the wild instrumental B-1 "Test Driver" (originally by Takeshi Terauchi and the Bunnies), The stomping garage version of B-2 "Hound Dog" kicks things off. This is followed by B-3 "Summer Smell" with a pleasant psychedelic wah-wah effect with a dreamy, melancholic touch, and B-4 "Sorry," which includes a moderate Japanese pop feel, with beautiful vocal harmonies that will touch your heart.It ends with the catchy garage-pop-punk B-5 "Love Already" and a great version of The Easybeats' B-6 "Sorry".
