This album features his performance of the well-known \"Aranjuez Concerto\" and two world premiere recordings of his works. Martin's suite \"Guitar\" was originally a solo piece, but here we have a version with orchestral accompaniment by the composer himself. Browell's concerto was composed to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Tárrega's birth, and Browell himself said, \"This piece is a panorama of my own ideas,\" so varied are its musical ideas and rich fantasy. This piece also showcases all of Tlapaga's outstanding technique.
