His cello was taught by the renowned teacher Adolph Schiffer, and he performed frequently as a student, beginning his international career as a cellist at the age of 16. As a composer, he also published numerous works, but in 1944 he was captured by the Nazis and died prematurely, and his works were destroyed; only two were ever published.\n\n\n\nThe album contains various piano pieces, organ pieces, recorder ensembles, and instrumental works such as lute and harpsichord pieces, which he was interested in, as well as some songs.
