Nuria Real participates in No. 144. No. 14, \"If God Be Not With Us,\" is a cantata for the fourth Sunday after the apparitions of 1735. It was composed to supplement the unfinished Chorale Cantata Annual of 1724\/25. The basis is Luther's chorale based on Psalm 124, which praises God for helping us in times of distress or threat. No. 144, \"Take what is thine and go away,\" was first performed on February 6, 1724, the Lord's Day of Lent. The lyricist is unknown, but it is sung to the effect that \"do not be discontented with your present situation, but be thankful only for your portion, which God gives you. The piece begins with a four-part motet and ends with a simple chorale. No. 72, \"All only as God wills,\" is a work for the third Sunday after the apparitions, January 27, 1726. The poem by Zalomon Frank is based on the episode from the book of Matthew about the miracle of Jesus healing a man with a serious skin disease, and the powerful chorus at the beginning sings of man's unwavering faith.Following the recitative, the alto solo, in which the strings are active, expresses a thick sense of faith by repeating the words \"Herr, so du willt by the Lord\" over and over. The bass recitative is followed by a light soprano aria. The piece closes with a glorious chorale in which gratitude to God is sung.
