Spectrum Sound is pleased to announce the release of the previously unreleased live recordings of Sanson-François (1924-1970). Once again, the rare masters owned by the Institut National d'Audiovisual (INA) have been carefully mastered and released on CD.\n\n\n\nThis world premiere is a live recording of a recital at Salle Pleyel on January 15, 1965. The previous release on the same label was a performance on January 19 of the same year. This recital was held four days earlier, and the program is different.\n\n\n\nThe music spun from a single spark of a lifetime, as is typical of François, is a must-hear, and the power of this sonata is beautifully captured in sound. The performance was so heated that the audience applauded after the first movement. This is an amazing performance that only François could have given.In Chopin's Etudes, we play as if we were singing with unique verses.\n\n\n\nLiszt's recollection of \"Don Giovanni\" was recorded live in Menton in 1961, and it is also valuable that the performance was recorded four years later. Although this is Liszt's superbly crafted work, François captivates the audience with his majestic performance as if he were an opera singer.\n\n\n\nIn response to the enthusiastic curtain call from the audience, François performed two waltzes by Chopin. The audience was enveloped by the warm atmosphere of this stylish performance.\n\n\n\nAs a bonus track, the concerto recorded Bach's organ piece Prelude and Fugue in A minor, BWV 543, arranged by Liszt, from the March 30, 1967, concert at the Otan Civic Theatre. This is another valuable recording, with a clean and neat performance. This is a remarkable album that offers more than enough of François' diverse expression.\n\nSPECTRUM SOUND\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Spectrum Sound","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51389472407841,"sku":"4580481403348","price":233.0,"currency_code":"MOP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4580481403348.jpg?v=1750174952","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-mo\/products\/4580481403348","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
