Description:

The best of Brazilian Balearic~Experimental music! MEMORIA" by Fernando Falcão is also included in MUSIC FROM MEMORY's compilation of Brazilian music "OUTRO TEMPO: ELECTRONIC AND CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FROM BRAZIL, 1978-1992", and is a very rare album. DASAGUAS" is finally reissued! Starting with the reissue of Maria Hita's "BRASILEIRA", a masterpiece of Brazilian avant-garde~Balearic music featuring Luiz Esa and Uacchi, the album has been reissued in the context of European house~techno, Balearic, New Age, and experimental music, and has been highly popular. SELVA DISCOS, a Sao Paulo-based label that continues to reissue Brazilian music, has finally reissued Fernando Falcao's classic albums "MEMORIA DAS AGUAS (1981)" and "BARRACAS BARROCAS (1987)" for the first time worldwide! In 1968, Fernando Falcão left Brazil under the military regime and moved to Paris, where he studied music and plastic arts.He was greatly influenced by his father-in-law, Francois-Xavier Lalanne, a sculptor and installation artist, who is said to have guided him in the creation of the balaue, a horizontal bilimbau-like instrument inspired by the flow of water. It is said that it was under his guidance that he created the balaue, a horizontal bilimbau-like instrument inspired by the flow of water. With such a musical background, Fernando recorded "Memoria das aguas (Memory of Water)" in Paris in 1979. While the overall sound of the album is ambient and experimental, it is a mixture of dark library jazz, the vibrancy of African rhythms, and the sophistication of classical music. The one-of-a-kind musicality of this album defies categorization, but its penetrating worldview, the high degree of perfection throughout, and the inclusion of many Balearic-inspired tracks such as "Amanhecer Tabajara (A Alceu Valenca)" have made it a sought-after record by record collectors and DJs around the world. It was also known as one of the most sought-after albums by record collectors and DJs around the world. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this is one of the most sought-after Brazilian Balearic~Experimental albums that have been reissued one after another in recent years. This is one of the most sought-after reissues of Brazilian Balearic~Experimental albums in recent years.
