The two eventually joined forces with Akihide Monna (Bo Ningen) and performed together at the Camden Arts Center on Cork Street in London in 2019.When the three come together, something new is born, something that has been dormant like a geyser in Iceland drawn out.The setting for this special encounter between the three is integral to the tone, process, and emotion of the album. The album was recorded at Greenhouse Studios in Iceland, where the three formed a series of intuitions. They discussed how nature can provide guidelines in the choice of instruments, their materials, and associated rhythms; the voice as a sculptural element; and pure sound and language. Monna describes her experience during the short but intensive recording period. The sounds flowed naturally, as if pulling at each other's hearts and minds with strange internal connections and sensations. Something pure was brought out.\" The word \"Geister\" itself was coined from the German word \"Geist,\" meaning \"spirit,\" and was given a sound all its own.
