STERN-COMBO MEISSEN (STERN MEISSEN) will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2024, and is one of the most popular and representative bands of classical/symphonic rock in the former East Germany/Communist bloc. This 8 CD box is the extended reissue of the box "DIE ORIGINAL AMIGA-ALBEN" released in '11, which is a collection of 7 studio albums from the 70's and 80's. This 8 CD box is released in '23! From "STERN-COMBO MEISSEN" (1977) to "WEISSES GOLD" (1978), "DER WEITE WEG" (1979), "REISE ZUM MITTELPUNKT DES MENSCHEN" (1980), and "STUNDENSCHEN" (1982), which contains live recordings released from the former East German Amiga. In addition to the seven studio albums "STUNDENSCHLAG" (1982), "TAUFRISCH" (1985), and "NACHTE" (1987), the box also includes "ES GEHT DIE ZEIT," a disc exclusive to this box, which is being released for the first time.The '78 album with a neat and classical sound with a massive orchestral arrangement, the popular '80 album with a speedy and technical exchange of twin keyboards and a tight rhythm section that created a sense of tension that was almost unique for this band, and the '77 album with a classical sound that can only be heard live with its lively live performance with a skillful use of organs and spacy synths, and the soft symphonic sound of the backing band and its catchy yet unique and sorrowful sound.
