Formed in 1967, the band is still led by the only original member Rod Clements (b/g/acoustic-g/vln) and is one of the most famous bands in the British Folk Rock scene. The 8-CD box set of live recordings from '71 to '90, recorded for BBC radio, was released from Germany's Repertoire Records in '23! This is an upgraded version of previously released live compilation albums such as "THE COMPLETE BBC RECORDINGS 1971-1975" released in 1998 and "AT THE BBC: THE CHARISMA YEARS 1971-1973" released in '09, This is a very valuable box containing 27 live broadcasts, about half of which have never been officially released before. The restoration and re-mastering by Eroc of GROBSCHNITT has resulted in a more vivid sound that allows the player's breath to be heard. The box also includes a booklet with a new commentary by music journalist Chris Charlesworth.The 70's folk-rock sound is full of warmth and friendliness, and the 80's is more adult with a gradual AOR flavor, reflecting the current trends. This is a very valuable box for not only fans but also for British Folk fanatics!
