Here he is with a recording of a work for viola and orchestra. The three works are the famous Walton, a new work by Grisi, commissioned by La Marca when he was a resident artist of the Liège Philharmonic and premiered by La Marca, and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. Grisi is a Belgian composer. A precocious prodigy, he was awarded the ['Tactus'] Prize at the age of 21 and was composer-in-residence at the Liège Philharmonic. Each piece has a clear story, and you feel as if you are watching a movie in which the viola is the main character (HERO). Adrienne La Marca, a native of France, was awarded the prize for best new solo instrumentalist by the \"Victoires de la Musique\" in 2014. He received his musical education from an early age and won high acclaim early on, including first prize at the French National Competition for Young Viola Players in Lille.In 2008, he was invited by the Seiji Ozawa Swiss International Academy, a music school, to study with the founder, Seiji Ozawa, as well as Robert Mann, Pamela Frank, Nobuko Imai, and Sadao Harada. In 2010, after completing the master's program at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he entered the doctoral program (program 3) at the same conservatory, where he also studied with Tatjana Maslenko in Leipzig. He is currently studying under Tabea Zimmermann at the prestigious Hans Eisler University of Music in Berlin. He has made numerous appearances at music festivals. He has also been active in chamber music, forming a quartet with Renaud Capuçon and others as a tribute to Adolf Busch, which has performed on major stages in Europe. The instrument used is the Giovanni Battista Gadanini, loaned by the Zilber\/Rampal Foundation. Pianist Thomas Hoppe has performed with instrumentalists and singers such as Perlman and Tabea Zimmermann in the United States and Europe, and is a highly trusted pianist. He was a longtime pianist in Perlman's Juilliard School classes.
