Noack's passion for Prokofiev's music, such as the tingling \"War Sonata,\" is intensely expressed in the \"percussiveness\" of Prokofiev's music. Florian Noack was born in Brussels in 1990, and at the age of 12, he was selected to participate in the training course for child prodigies at the Queen Elisabeth University of Music, where he studied with Yuka Izutsu. He then studied at the Cologne University of Music with the Sorian pianist and composer Vasily Lobanov and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Basel with Claudio Martinez Menner. Early on, he developed a passion for introducing the unknown repertoire of the Romantic and Late Romantic periods, and his concert programs often include Lyapunov. Alkan, Metonel, and Dohnányi are among the composers who appear on his concert programs. An accomplished arranger, Noack has provided arrangements for such performers as Berezovsky, Bashkirov, and Katsaris.
