The works selected here include not only works by important composers of the Baroque era by Zelenka, Handel, and Fuchs, but also works by composers little known today, such as Gennaro Manna, Antonio de Almeida, and Bartolomeo Nucci, including some world premiere recordings. The enchanting new soprano Fatma Said, who won many awards in 2020, is a guest on Zelenka's sparkling \"We are full of joy.\"Il Pomo d'Oro, which is active in operas, concertos, and song ensembles throughout the world and was nominated as one of the \"Best Orchestras in the World\" by Gramophone in 2018, and the highly acclaimed harpsichordist Francesco Corti, who has received high praise for his collection of Bach harpsichord concertos conducts an ideal combination of engaging storytelling and well-versed interpretation of Baroque music, complemented by the deep appeal of Orlinski's singing. The colors heard in the religious music of the Baroque period still touch people's souls today. Anima Eterna means eternal life, and for me it means nature... so vibrant, wild and dangerous, yet so serene, enchanting, soothing and magical,\" said Orlinski. *Tracks differ from the LP version.
