The great Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo, who will turn 80 in 2021, has recorded a second compilation album of Kreisler's compositions and arrangements on a wide range of Cremona School violins, from the 16th century Andrea Amati to the 18th century "Guarneri del Gesu". Recorded at the Palazzo Cavalcabo in Cremona in 1993, the album features Kreisler's compositions in the style of various composers and his masterful arranging techniques that seem to have been written for the violin from the beginning.
