The band has found their place in the world again, and their new story begins! 86TVs is the new project of the three White brothers Will, Hugo and Felix from The Maccabees, and Jamie Morrison from Sterephonics and Noisettes. 86TVs released their debut EP "You Don't Have To Be Yourself Right Now" last year, and after touring in the UK, they are finally releasing a full-length album.After playing their last show as The Maccabees at London's Alexandra Palace in 2016, the three White brothers began meeting regularly at their studio in South London. One day, Jamie Morrison joined in on an instrumental the three brothers were toying with, and a new project was born. We didn't really feel like anything was starting until Jamie came on board," Will recalls. We hadn't even written a song, it was just instrumental music, an idea for a soundtrack or something, and then Jamie came along and it started to take shape. Then all of a sudden it hit me: why don't we write a song? And so they began to write songs at their own pace, without the pressures of band life, and enjoying the creative freedom and joy of making music again that they had almost forgotten over the past few years.The three brothers took turns singing lead vocals, and they even created a new style in which all four siblings sang in harmony, and they eventually completed the songs that would make an album.
