(Original release: 1982 / JAM)A famous fusion session guitarist who supported the New Soul scene (Danny Hathaway, Terry Carrier, etc.) in the early 70's and played back-up for George Benson on "Breezin" (1976) and other albums. This is his 10th solo album, in which he returns to the roots of jazz funk in a relaxed studio live performance. The album features the masterful Harvey Mason on drums, Sylvia Cox (ex-Roy Ayers Ubiquity) on female vocals, and Russ Ferrante of the Yellowjackets on keyboards. The first meeting with Eddie Harris (saxophone) is also a highlight.
