Dirty Projectors, an experimental band led by Dave Longstreth, releases their first new album in almost four years! The album also features the hot Solange, Tyondai Braxton formerly of Battles, Dawn Richard aka DAWN, a female R&B singer, and Mauro Refosco of Atoms for Peace! The Dirty Projectors, a band from Brooklyn, NY, released their 8th album in 4 years! In recent years, frontman David Longstreth has written and arranged songs for artists such as Joanna Newsom, and also co-wrote "Four Five Seconds" for Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney, which debuted at #1 on the singles charts in 8 countries after its release last 2016. He also participated in "Four Five Seconds" by Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney, which reached number one on the singles chart in eight countries in 2016, as a co-writer. Then suddenly he released a new song and finally restarted his career. This self-titled album, which contains nine songs, was written and produced by Dave himself.The album features percussion by the hot U.S. singer Solange, former Battles member Taiyondai Braxton, female R&B singer Dawn Richard aka DAWN, and Mauro Refosco of Atoms for Peace. The theme of "Little Bubble," released as a preceding single, is love and loss. The song was inspired by the heartbreak and other losses experienced since the release of the previous album. The beautiful melody full of melancholy is impressive, and the sound, which is different from their previous base, has been talked about all over the world, and has already won Best New Music at Pitchfork!
