Includes \"Home Town\" for mixed chorus! Bob Chilcott (1955-), a member of King's College Choir and King's Singers of Cambridge, is now one of the most popular choral composers in the UK and very popular in Japan. Chilcott himself choreographed the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic Choir, a Polish mixed choir founded in 2006, and recorded this collection of his own choral works in January 2012! Chilcott's arrangement of five Japanese folk songs for mixed chorus, \"Hometown (Furusato),\" has attracted much attention for its wonderful arrangement, and since its publication, it has been sung one after another by choirs in various parts of Japan.Chilcott, who wrote the score for \"Hometown\" with the message \"In memory of the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami of March 2011,\" has put extraordinary passion into the recording with the Wroclaw Philharmonic Choir, including inviting a Japanese language teacher to record with the choir. Here comes Chilcott \u0026amp; his own composition, a must-listen for all choral fans!
