Directed by Toru Kawashima (known for *Ryuji* and *Chinpira*), this was his second film for Toei—following *Checkers in Tantan Tanuki*—and featured an original story.\nTamako (Hiroko Yakushimaru), a young genius writer with no ties to the underworld, is accidentally drawn into a gang boss murder case due to the reckless antics of Takiguchi (Koji Shimizu), a rising star in the Yamanishi Gang. Nakai (Kyohei Shibata), an outlaw bodyguard who knew the truth, flees with Tamako through the night streets of Roppongi...\nThis was Hiroko Yakushimaru’s first starring role in a film produced by a studio other than Kadokawa, co-starring Kyohei Shibata, who appeared the year before the start of *Dangerous Cops*. The supporting cast—including Michiko Kawai, Yosuke Fukagawa, Kentaro Shimizu, Isao Bito, Johnny Okura, Jun Togawa, and others—brings a pop sensibility typical of Kawashima’s works, making this less of a unconventional yakuza film and more of a charming urban action flick.\nMusic by Kazuhiko Kato, arranged by Ryoichi Kuniyoshi. The theme song is \"How to Forget a Wonderful Love\" by Hiroko Yakushimaru. Released in December 1985. It was shown alongside \"Be-Bop High School\" at the time of its release.
