All the pieces have a massive and solemn sound with a solid bass. Although the melodies are Bachian, there is a strong sense of late Romanticism in these unique pieces. The \"Prelude and Fugue\" is a delightful example of the transformation into music from another world. Elgar's arrangement of the \"Fantasy and Fugue\" (1921) is also noteworthy. The fugue part is exactly like \"Enigma\" itself. The grandeur and richness of the sound will surely satisfy you.
