The piano soloist was the young Glenn Gould, who had already made his debut album \"J.S. Bach: Goldberg Variations\" and attracted much attention! Most of his discography is based on studio recordings, but several live discs exist, both official and unofficial. This recording of \"Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 3\" has been known for a long time in the form of a private disc, and was released as an official disc by Sony Classical in 2008. It is also noteworthy that Sibelius' \"Symphony No. 5\" played in the latter half is included in the recording.
