This is the latest live recording in 2022 by the orchestra, which has been rapidly gaining in ability and reputation in recent years. The Taiwan Philharmonic is still young, with a history of only 37 years. \"The Taiwan Philharmonic is still young, with a history of only 37 years, but it is already highly sophisticated and artistic, and you can feel the passion of its members in its sound. They are already familiar with a wide range of styles and works from different periods, from early classical to contemporary music. The Taiwan Philharmonic always works with the great hope of becoming one of Asia's leading orchestras, always savoring the joy of performing for our audiences.\" (Quasi-Merkle) A great performance beyond imagination. The technique is astonishingly high, and the seamless ensemble is astonishing. The ensemble's technique is astonishingly high, and the seamless ensemble is astonishing. The music has an outstanding narrative, singing long, breathy phrases in a spontaneous manner, while the tight sense of rhythm pulls the music along. The crispness of the woodwinds in the final movement of \"Italia\" without losing substance at high speed, the unmistakable driving force that pervades the entire orchestra, and the climax of the piece's climax, all demonstrate that this is a wonderful performance that embodies the joy of the music to the highest degree. The beauty of the strings is also noteworthy, and the rare sense of balance between the delicate and refined violins and the bass, with its low center of gravity and deep bosom, is superb. This orchestra is a perfect match for Merkle's neat, delicate, and colorful sound. Each of the recorded works offers music from various aspects. Mendelssohn's music is highly mobile and bright, while Debussy's music is truly fascinating in its elongation of sound and fine blending with the Vocalise. The final work, Ravel's \"La Valse,\" is a magnificent performance, with the best of orchestral sound emanating to the fullest and filling the space. The high-spec DXD recording is also noteworthy.According to Keisuke Saito of ALTUS, who handled the recording in Taiwan, mastering, and CD conversion, the crisp and clear effect can be heard on the CD.
