One of the charms of Dutch old-time music performance is its supple and delicate curvilinear form, and such characteristics work in a positive direction in Copeman's Bach's \"Matthew Passion,\" \"John Passion,\" and \"Mass in B Minor\" (←3-title set BOX: 2564.673616), In the \"Passion\" and \"Mass in B Minor\" (←3-title set BOX:2564.673616), these characteristics work in a positive direction, and the orchestra succeeds in weaving subtle and breathtaking textures out of a work that tends to be heavy and harsh. The recording is also excellent, with the original instrument orchestra and chorus creating a highly transparent sound that skillfully reproduces the delicately shifting colors of the music, resulting in a performance of supreme happiness. Copeman's \"Christmas Oratorio\" has not been re-released on CD for a long time.
